Animal strikes cause multiple road accidents in Spain

Multiple road accidents involving animals have been reported in Spain. In the early hours of Thursday, a multi-vehicle collision occurred on the A-50 highway near Encinas de Abajo after a vehicle struck an animal. The incident, which took place around 01:21, resulted in a rear-end collision between two cars, leaving two men approximately 45 years old injured. One victim reported chest pains while the other sustained hand injuries.

In a separate incident in Villalonga, a motorcyclist was injured after colliding with a wild boar on the CV-680 road around 07:00. The accident occurred during dawn, which contributed to poor visibility. The rider was treated by local police and an ambulance before being transported to the Hospital Francesc de Borja. Authorities note that the Safor region has several high-risk roads due to wild boar activity, with signage advising drivers to reduce speeds to 40 km/h during nighttime hours.
