In Camaquã, Brazil, a horse was found dead near the BR-116 highway on Friday. The Associação Protetora aos Animais de Rua de Camaquã (ARCA) reported the incident, noting that the animal showed signs of having been used for cart traction. The organization highlighted the dangers posed by loose or abandoned animals near major highways, which can lead to serious accidents involving motorists and the animals themselves.

In Prainha, Pará, three individuals—two men and one woman—were arrested for the theft and slaughter of a bull valued at approximately R$ 18,000. The animal belonged to the local Association of Cowboys and Ranchers and was intended for breeding. Police intercepted the suspects as they attempted to sell the meat illegally to local butcher shops.
