Animate to open event-focused Fukuoka ANNEX in November 2026

Animate is set to open a new concept store, ‘Animate Fukuoka ANNEX’, on November 2, 2026, at the Fukuoka Parco main building's 8th floor. Unlike its standard retail locations, this new branch will be specifically designed to host events and exhibitions, focusing on providing specialized experiences for fans of anime, comics, and games.

To prepare for the grand opening, the current Animate Fukuoka Parco location will undergo several operational changes. This includes reduced business hours in late September and early October 2026, a period dedicated exclusively to the Animate Only Shop in mid-October, and temporary closures scheduled for early October and late October leading up to the launch.
