Animawings extends flight suspension until November 15
Romanian airline Animawings has announced an extension of its total flight suspension until November 15, 2026. This decision follows a ruling by the Bucharest Tribunal, which rejected the carrier's request to enter insolvency.
The airline had previously halted all operations starting October 2, 2026, citing significant financial difficulties. The company is currently undergoing a court-supervised restructuring process.
Animawings stated that scheduled flights through mid-November will be cancelled in stages. Affected passengers will receive notifications regarding available options via the email addresses associated with their bookings. The airline's fleet, which includes Airbus A220 and A320 aircraft, remains grounded across various locations.
