Anime adaptation of ‘The King’s Proposal’ set for 2027 broadcast

The anime adaptation of the fantasy series ‘The King’s Proposal’ (Ousama no Propose) is scheduled to begin broadcasting in 2027. The announcement included the release of a teaser visual featuring the character Ayaka Kuonozaki, described as the strongest witch.

Voice actress Rie Takahashi has been cast as the lead character, Ayaka Kuonozaki. Following the casting announcement, a comment video from Takahashi was released. Original author Koji Tachibana and illustrator Tsunako also provided comments expressing gratitude to fans and excitement for the animation process.

The story is set in a world facing periodic threats of destruction, where magicians work to save humanity by defeating extinction factors. The plot follows Ayaka Kuonozaki, the head of a magic academy, and her dramatic encounter with a young boy.
