Anime Festival Asia Marks 10th Edition in Jakarta on Aug 15‑16, 2026

The Anime Festival Asia Indonesia (AFA) will hold its 10th edition at ICE BSD City in Jakarta on 15 and 16 August 2026. The two‑day event will showcase anime, music, gaming, cosplay, creators and merchandise, featuring live performances, guest appearances and interactive activities.

Founder and Managing Director of SOZO, Shawn Chin, said the milestone reflects Indonesia’s strong market for Japanese pop culture and thanked fans for supporting the festival’s growth over the years. The theme, “Celebrate the Magic of Japan Pop Culture,” aims to bring together creators and fans for a weekend of shared experiences.
