Anime NYC 2026 to host over 150,000 fans at Javits Center
Anime NYC is scheduled to return to the Javits Center in Manhattan from August 20 to 23, 2026. Organizers expect the event to be the largest in the convention's history, with projections of over 150,000 attendees.
The four-day event will feature a variety of programming, including exclusive premieres, industry panels, and appearances by voice actors and creators. Specific programming includes sessions focused on LGBTQ+ content, such as panels on queer manga and anime, as well as book signings for creators like Sen.
Operating hours for the convention are Thursday from 1 p.m. to 8 p.m. EST, Friday and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. EST, and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. EST. Evening activities, including screenings and late-night panels, are expected to continue until approximately 10 p.m. EST during the first three days.
