Japanese animation franchises launch new merchandise and movie bonuses

Various Japanese media franchises are releasing new merchandise and promotional items.

The Chiikawa franchise is expanding its offerings with new “Bonbon Drop” stickers featuring sushi and baby designs, as well as new Outdoor Products pen cases. Additionally, the film “Chiikawa: The Secret of Mermaid Island” is offering a fifth limited-edition admission bonus: a 52-page “Himitsu Hon” (Secret Book). This book includes new manga and essays by creator Nagano, as well as previously unreleased story illustrations from the “Siren Arc.”

Other franchise updates include Bandai Namco releasing “One Piece Log Collection Miniature Charms” that replicate TV anime DVD packaging, and new functional lifestyle goods for the “Haikyu!!” series, such as hairbands, eco-bags, and tote bags featuring popular characters.
