AnimeJapan 2027 set for first Osaka edition, exhibitor applications open
The world‑largest anime exhibition, AnimeJapan, will hold its 14th edition in Osaka in March 2027. The event will take place at Intex Osaka, with a public day on 27‑28 March and a business day on 26‑27 March.
Organisers have opened applications for companies and organisations to exhibit on both days, with the deadline of 2 November. Eligible participants are those involved in animation culture or that contribute to the development of Japan’s industry. The exhibition is expected to attract more than 150,000 visitors from around 100 countries, continuing the scale seen at AnimeJapan 2026, which featured over 210 exhibitors and 300 works. After 13 years in Tokyo, the move to Osaka aligns with the city’s role in the 2025 Osaka‑Kansai Expo and its historic position as a gateway for international trade.
