ANIS launched as new Italian logistics and transport association

The National Association of Service and Logistics Enterprises (ANIS) has been established within the Italian Transporters Federation (FEDIT). Presented at the Rimini Meeting, the association aims to represent companies specializing in integrated logistics, warehousing, and last-mile distribution.

To ensure high industry standards and combat irregularities in public tenders and labor relations, ANIS will implement a mandatory certification process for its members. This certification will verify corporate structure, reputation, financial stability, compliance with national collective labor agreements (CCNL), and fiscal and social security regularity.

Michela Crecco, an experienced manager in the logistics and transport sectors, has been appointed as president. The association currently represents approximately 10,000 employees, with a projected growth potential of up to 30,000.

Accompanying the launch, Randstad Research presented findings from a study of 50 freight and distribution companies. The data indicates that 96% of these firms apply the Logistics, Freight, and Shipping CCNL, with 80% utilizing second-level bargaining. Among large enterprises, the application of these agreements reaches 100%.
