ANIS launches 105,000 euro scholarship program for Romanian educators
The Association of Software and Services Industry Employers (ANIS) has opened applications for the ninth edition of the ANIS Scholarships program. The initiative is designed to support early-career university faculty members who develop courses and laboratories utilizing new technologies and innovative teaching methods.
For the 2026 edition, a total of 105,000 euros in grants will be awarded. Specifically, 21 grants of 5,000 euros each will be distributed. The program features record industry involvement, with 16 IT companies providing support to help bridge the gap between academic education and rapid technological shifts.
Eligible applicants include lecturers, university assistants, and doctoral students aged 40 or younger. Projects must integrate advanced technologies such as Big Data, cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, machine learning, Internet of Things, cloud computing, or quantum computing into their curricula. Applications are open from September 1 to September 23, 2026.
