Anita Harley documentary to air on TV Globo

The documentary series ‘O Testamento: O Segredo de Anita Harley’, which became a major success on the Globoplay streaming platform, is scheduled for broadcast on TV Globo starting October 5. The series will be presented in a special three-night format, with episodes airing on October 5, 6, and 7.

The documentary investigates the complex legal battle surrounding the inheritance and guardianship of Anita Harley, the primary shareholder of Casas Pernambucanas. Since suffering a stroke in 2016 and entering a coma, Harley has been at the center of a dispute involving assets valued at approximately R$ 1 billion.

Through testimonies from family members, lawyers, and close associates, the production explores conflicting perspectives. Key figures include Cristine Rodrigues, a trusted secretary named in a living will, and Sônia Soares, a former employee claiming to be Harley’s partner. The legal conflict also involves claims regarding socio-affective maternity.
