Anita Włodarczyk documentary airs on Polish TV

Polish public broadcaster TVP 1 will show the documentary film "Anita" on 6 August at 22:30. The film, directed by Kasia Grabek and produced by Papaya Films, debuted at the Millennium Docs Against Gravity festival in May and follows three‑time Olympic champion and four‑time world champion hammer‑thrower Anita Włodarczyk.

The documentary offers an intimate look at Włodarczyk’s career, including her record‑breaking 82.98 m throw, three Olympic gold medals, four world titles and multiple European championships. It also features her reflections on personal matters, such as her reluctance to seek a relationship while training and her hopes for the future as she approaches her 41st birthday and upcoming European Championships.
