Anita Włodarczyk featured in TV documentary ahead of European Championships

Three‑time Olympic hammer‑throw champion Anita Włodarczyk, currently ranked 17th in the world and 6th in Europe, will turn 41 just before the European Athletics Championships in Birmingham. To mark the occasion, TVP1 will broadcast a documentary titled “ANITA” on Thursday, 6 August at 22:30. The film, produced by Papaya Films in cooperation with the municipality of Rawicz, offers an intimate look at Włodarczyk’s career, training regime, injuries and personal determination that have made her a legend of the sport.

The documentary is timed to air shortly before Włodarczyk’s competition in Birmingham, giving Polish viewers a preview of her preparation and mindset ahead of the championship event.
