Anita Yuen discusses family life and celebrity friendships

Hong Kong actress Anita Yuen recently shared personal anecdotes during an interview with a mainland Chinese internet personality. She addressed long-standing rumors regarding a past rift with actress Charmaine Sheh during their 1995 film collaboration, clarifying that the misunderstanding was resolved years ago through their participation in the reality show ‘Our Beautiful Life’. Yuen also humorously declined comparisons to Sheh regarding their Mandarin proficiency.

Regarding her family life, Yuen revealed she is currently in a ‘cold war’ with her 19-year-old son, Cheung Mo-tung, after he made an impolite remark. She stated she is using silence as a method to encourage him to reflect on his behavior. She also joked about her son performing as a guitarist during his father Elvis Tsang’s concert, remarking that it was a way to ‘let him earn some money’.

Additionally, Yuen engaged in playful banter with friend Moses Chan, jokingly commenting on his wife, Lisa Wang, in response to previous remarks made by Chan about Tsang.
