Anita Yuen suffers high blood pressure spike during Mexico filming

During the filming of the reality travel show ‘Flower and Youth 2026’ in Mexico, Hong Kong actress Anita Yuen experienced a health scare due to high altitude and extreme weather. While attempting to climb a pyramid in a high-altitude area under intense sun, Yuen suffered from severe migraines and physical discomfort.

Medical checks conducted on-site revealed her blood pressure spiked to dangerous levels, reaching a systolic reading of 174 mmHg. The incident caused significant concern among her fellow cast members, including Lin Yichen and Zhou Dongyu. Yuen later clarified that the spike was primarily a reaction to the high altitude rather than a chronic hypertension issue.

After being sent to her hotel to rest, her blood pressure returned to normal levels the following day. Yuen has since recovered and continued with the production schedule.
