Anitta recounts discovery of older brother Felipe Terra

During an appearance on the television program Altas Horas, singer Anitta recounted the details of discovering her older brother, Felipe Terra. The discovery occurred several years ago after journalist Fábia Oliveira revealed the connection by contacting Anitta’s father, Mauro Machado.

Felipe first realized his potential connection to the family in 2017 after his mother, Cleide Terra, recognized Mauro Machado on television. Anitta noted that Felipe initially hesitated to reach out for approximately two years, fearing he might not be accepted or that the family might suspect he was only interested in financial gain.

Anitta shared that she had long expressed a desire for a sibling and took the initiative to find Felipe on social media once the news became public. She appeared on the program alongside her father and her brothers to celebrate the family reunion.
