Čanj remains an affordable Adriatic destination

The coastal settlement of Čanj, located near Bar in Montenegro, remains an affordable destination for tourists seeking seaside holidays despite rising prices across the Adriatic. The area is particularly popular with families and travelers from the region, including Bosnia and Herzegovina and Serbia.

Accommodation options in Čanj include family apartments ranging from 35 to 50 euros per day, with some studios costing up to 70 euros during peak season. Individual rooms or studios can also be found for 10 to 25 euros per person. Dining remains relatively inexpensive, with cooked meals available in some local establishments for between 5 and 8 euros.

The primary attraction is Biserna obala, a beach approximately 1,100 meters long characterized by its fine, multicolored sand and pebbles. Another nearby location is Kraljičina plaža, a smaller, more isolated cove accessible primarily by sea.
