Anja Graf appointed Managing Director at Vattenfall Europe Nuclear Energy

Anja Graf has assumed the role of Managing Director of Vattenfall Europe Nuclear Energy GmbH (VENE) and Vice President of the Nuclear Decommissioning Business Unit Germany, effective August 1, 2026. A radiation protection engineer with over 30 years of experience in the nuclear industry, Graf previously led the Gesellschaft für nukleares Reststoffrecycling mbH (GNR) at EnBW AG.

Graf recently conducted introductory visits to the Brunsbüttel and Krümmel nuclear power plants to meet with employees. Her mandate focuses on the safe, efficient, and economic decommissioning of nuclear facilities while creating new perspectives and employment opportunities. She expressed a commitment to an open leadership culture and collaboration between teams in Germany and Sweden.
