Anjali Sardana launches Provision Labs AI startup

Anjali Sardana, founder of the household services startup Pronto, has launched Provision Labs, a new artificial intelligence venture based in San Francisco. The company aims to focus on the data, evaluation, and deployment layers for physical AI, specifically gathering real-world data to train and test systems designed for robotics and machine tasks in real-world environments.

Provision Labs is backed by several high-profile investors, including General Catalyst, Bain Capital Ventures, Lachy Groom, and Glade Brook Capital. These investors also supported Sardana’s previous venture, Pronto.

The launch coincides with efforts at Pronto to collect data for AI training. Through its ‘Pronto Verified’ program, the home services platform uses wearable cameras to record anonymized household service sessions. While the strategic alignment between the two companies regarding data usage remains unconfirmed, Provision Labs intends to collaborate with developers building models for robotics and other practical physical applications.
