Anjeong Nonghyup expands urban-rural exchange through tourism

Anjeong Nonghyup in Yeongju is expanding urban-rural exchange through its ‘Nongsim Cheonsim Travel’ program. The initiative aims to promote local agricultural products and boost regional tourism by inviting members from urban cooperatives.

As part of the first program, members from Daejeon Hoe-deok Nonghyup visited Yeongju to tour local food stores and historical sites like Sosu Seowon. Participants also engaged in traditional activities, such as making ginseng syrup, and purchased local specialties like Punggi ginseng to support the regional economy. The program seeks to establish a continuous cycle of urban visits, tourism, and agricultural consumption.
