Ankara bus driver and passenger exchange gun in violent downtown clash

A violent confrontation erupted in the Pursaklar district of Ankara when a city bus driver and a passenger fought over an alleged harassment of a woman. The driver first attacked with a stick or wooden weapon, and the passenger managed to seize the driver’s gun.

The passenger then shot the driver at close range multiple times. Video showed the weapon was loaded with blanks, preventing a fatal outcome. Bystanders attempted to intervene as the fight escalated, and the incident was captured on social media, prompting an investigation by Turkish authorities.
