Ankara flood strands driver, car ruined in underpass

Heavy rain in Ankara's Altındağ district caused water to flood the underpass on Turgut Özal Boulevard, trapping 55‑year‑old driver Sait Delibaş in his vehicle. The water rose suddenly, submerging the car and making it inoperable.

Delibaş blamed municipal authorities for inadequate maintenance and lack of preventive measures, saying, "My car is now unusable, yet I am still paying the loan," and demanding better service for taxpayers.
