Turkey registers tens of thousands of new jobs in Ankara’s Keçiören and Manisa in early 2026

In the first six months of 2026, Ankara’s Keçiören district reported that its municipal Career Office facilitated employment for 263 residents. The office received 2,082 registrations, referred 2,878 candidates to interviews and matched them with suitable positions. Keçiören Mayor Dr. Mesut Özarslan emphasized the office’s commitment to “fairness, merit and transparency” and to “equal opportunity in employment.”

Meanwhile, Manisa’s provincial İŞKUR office placed 15,341 job seekers in work and provided career‑counselling to 44,477 individuals. Of those placed, 6,339 were women, 9,002 men, 508 disabled persons and 154 secured public‑sector jobs. The agency handled 25,058 job vacancies, conducted 5,904 employer visits and ran several specialised programmes, including 87 training sessions for 812 participants, a skilled‑workforce programme (NİYEP) for 88 people and the Women’s Positive Discrimination Project (KİPAP) assisting 200 women. Director Günseli Kervan Tufan highlighted the continued focus on women, youth and disabled citizens and pledged ongoing cooperation with employers, universities and local authorities.
