Ankara Metropolitan Municipality denies claims regarding Mansur Yavaş's political future

The municipality clarified that no meeting or discussion took place between Yavaş and Sarı regarding the Mayor's political decisions or future trajectory.
According to the official statement, Yavaş's current focus remains on maintaining the balance within the Ankara Metropolitan Municipality Council and ensuring the uninterrupted delivery of municipal services. The ABB also noted that elections will be held in the near future to fill vacant roles within the Council.
The municipality further addressed rumors suggesting a planned operation to alter the Council's balance to transfer municipal management to the AK Party. The ABB stated that discussing Yavaş's political future before an election process has even begun is inappropriate.
