Ankara to host cultural workshops and heritage concerts

Ankara will host several cultural and educational events in September. Forum Ankara and Forum Gordion, in collaboration with ForumOne and Finland-based Arkki, are organizing free architecture, design, and storytelling workshops from September 4 to 6. These workshops are divided into two age groups: the ‘City of My Future’ workshop for children aged 6-8 focuses on sustainable urban design and 3D modeling, while the ‘Story of My City’ workshop for ages 9-13 combines urban storytelling with comic book creation.

Additionally, as part of the European Heritage Days in Ankara, a special candlelight concert titled ‘Capital in Candlelight: A Heritage Concert in the Hangars’ will take place on September 19 at the historic hangars of Atatürk Orman Çiftliği. The event will feature a joint performance by the Ankara Metropolitan Municipality City Orchestra and the Agora Symphony Orchestra, under the musical direction of conductor Murat Ömür Tuncer.
