Ankara twins with autism impress with exceptional memories

Twin brothers Berkay and Burak Güler, who live in Ankara and have congenital autism and intellectual disabilities, are gaining attention for their extraordinary memories.

Berkay has memorized all the EGO bus codes in Ankara, a feat confirmed by local residents who observed him correctly identifying various routes. His brother, Burak, demonstrated similar capabilities by manually re-recording approximately 2,000 contacts from memory into a new phone after his previous device was broken.

The twins' mother, Özlem Güler, noted that while the boys have completed high school and applied for civil service positions, they have struggled to find employment. She expressed hope that their unique cognitive abilities might be recognized and utilized.
