Çankaya Deputy Mayor Haldun Güler Shares Mayor Güner's Message at Aşure

Deputy Mayor Haldun Güler attended a traditional aşure gathering organized by local NGOs in Çankaya, Ankara, where he read out a message from Mayor Hüseyin Can Güner. The event, held at the Sokullu Covered Market and hosted by the Kızılırmak Local Associations Federation, emphasized unity, solidarity and shared heritage.

Güler highlighted Güner’s wish to return to his duties promptly after being temporarily removed from office by the Ministry of Interior, and thanked citizens for their support. The gathering aimed to reinforce communal bonds through the sharing of aşure, a symbolic dessert representing togetherness.
