Anker and INIU release new portable power and charging solutions

New portable power solutions are addressing specific consumer needs regarding charging limits and portability.

Users of the Anker Solix S2000 have noted that the device can be configured to limit AC charging wattage via an app and WiFi. This feature allows the unit to be used with vehicle AC outlets that have low power caps, such as 100W. While the charging rate can be set in 100W increments between 100W and 1200W, users cautioned that if the station is simultaneously powering other AC loads, the total draw may exceed the set charging limit.

In the mobile accessory market, INIU has released the SnapGo, a 10,000mAh MagSafe-compatible power bank available on Amazon. The device features Qi2 certification, providing up to 25W of wireless output, which is faster than standard Qi or MagSafe charging. It includes magnetic rings to allow attachment to non-MagSafe devices like laptops and tablets, and is designed to balance portability with high-speed charging capabilities.
