Anker Innovations announces AeroClip 2 open-ear earbuds
Anker Innovations has announced the Anker soundcore AeroClip 2, an open-ear earbud designed to improve call clarity in noisy environments. Unlike traditional open-ear designs that rely solely on air-based microphone filtering, the AeroClip 2 utilizes a six-sensor hybrid array. This system combines four MEMS microphones with two voice pickup units that detect vocal cord vibrations through the wearer’s body.
To process these dual data streams, the device uses the THUS AI chip, which features 4.6 GFLOPS of computing power. The chip employs compute-in-memory technology, embedding computation directly inside NOR Flash memory cells to reduce the energy typically lost when moving data between memory and the processor.
