Anker Japan launches Liberty Buds 2 wireless earbuds

Anker Japan has released the Anker Liberty Buds 2, the smallest and lightest model in the Liberty series. Each earbud weighs approximately 4.7g, and the housing volume is roughly 41% smaller than the Liberty 5 model.

The earbuds feature the proprietary “Thus” AI chip, which provides Ultra Noise Cancelling 4.0. This chip, combined with six microphones and a bone conduction sensor, is designed to isolate voices and suppress ambient noise in loud environments like airports or stations.

Technical specifications include a 9.2mm dynamic driver, support for LDAC, AAC, and SBC codecs, and Dolby Audio compatibility. The device supports Bluetooth 6.1 and multipoint connection for two simultaneous devices. Battery life offers up to 7 hours of playback with noise cancelling enabled, or up to 12 hours without, with a total of 27 to 46 hours including the charging case. The product is available in three colors: Midnight Black, Pearl White, and Grayish Purple, with the latter featuring natural mother-of-pearl finishes. The retail price is 21,990 yen.
