Anker and Belkin unveil magnetic wireless power banks in Japan

Anker Japan began selling its Anker Nano Power Bank (MagGo, Plus) on July 30. The 10,000 mAh unit is priced at ¥11,990, uses the company’s Neo Lithium‑ion Battery, and has passed nail‑in, high‑temperature and pressure safety tests. Its case is made of flame‑retardant material, and the power bank supports Qi2 and MagSafe magnetic wireless charging up to 15 W plus up to 30 W wired charging via USB‑C. An accompanying app lets users monitor battery health and receive alerts.

On the same day Belkin released its BoostCharge Qi2 thin magnetic power bank, also a 10,000 mAh device, priced at ¥10,990. It is 13 mm thick, weighs about 205 g, and complies with TSA’s 100 Wh carry‑on limit. The charger supports Qi2 and MagSafe, delivering up to 15 W wirelessly and 30 W via USB‑C, and can power up to three devices simultaneously using two USB‑C ports and a wireless pad. A fold‑out kick‑stand allows the phone to stand while charging. Both launches emphasize safety, magnetic convenience, and fast charging for Japanese consumers.
