Anker SOLIX E10 offers expandable whole-home backup power

The Anker SOLIX E10 is being positioned as an integrated home energy system designed for whole-home backup, off-grid living, and managing rising utility costs. Unlike standard portable power stations, the system combines expandable battery storage with solar recharging and generator integration.

Technical specifications include a continuous output of 7.68kW from a single unit, with the capacity to expand from 6kWh up to 90kWh. The system is capable of a 10kW Turbo output and a 155 LRA surge, which helps support high-starting loads from appliances like air conditioners and water pumps. It also supports up to 9kW of solar input and can be used for electric vehicle (EV) charging.

Designed for resilience during natural disasters such as hurricanes or wildfires, the unit carries UL 9540 and 9540A certifications and is NEMA 4 rated for outdoor installation. Experts note that such systems are increasingly relevant as households adopt heat pumps, induction stoves, and EVs, which raise total power demand.
