Anker SOLIX launches official Homey app for local energy storage control

Anker SOLIX has released an official app for the Homey smart home platform, enabling local control of its energy storage systems. The integration allows users to monitor and manage hardware directly within their local network via Modbus TCP, bypassing the need for cloud-based communication.

The app supports several Anker SOLIX products, including the Solarbank Max AC, Solarbank Max, Solarbank 4 Pro, and the X1 home battery system. Additionally, users can integrate the Anker SOLIX Smart Meter and Smart Plug.

Through the Homey interface, users can track real-time charge and discharge status, adjust charging power, change operating modes, and set battery limits. By utilizing Homey Flows, the energy storage can be automated to work in conjunction with solar panels, electric vehicle chargers, or dynamic electricity tariffs to optimize energy usage.
