Anker Soundcore launches Liberty 5 Pro and Pro Max AI earbuds

Anker's Soundcore brand introduced two new premium true‑wireless earbuds, the Liberty 5 Pro and Liberty 5 Pro Max. Both models incorporate Anker's THUS AI processor, a ten‑sensor array—including eight environmental microphones and two bone‑conduction sensors—to improve voice pickup in noisy settings. Adaptive ANC 4.0 continuously analyses sound 384,000 times per second, while HearID 5.0 personalises the EQ after a quick hearing test. AI‑driven audio restoration and simultaneous translation are also supported.

The main hardware difference is the charging case: the Pro’s case has a 0.96‑inch touch display, whereas the Max’s case features a 1.78‑inch AMOLED screen that can record meetings and transcribe text. Both cases are water‑ and dust‑resistant (IP55) and support Bluetooth 6.1, multipoint connectivity for up to three devices, and fast charging. Battery life reaches about 6.5 hours with ANC on, extendable to 28 hours using the case.

Pricing varies by market. In Spain the Pro retails for €179.99 and the Max for €249.99. U.S. and U.K. suggested prices are $169/£149 for the Pro and $229/£199 for the Max, placing the Max just below Apple’s AirPods Pro 3. Early reviews note identical audio performance between the two, with detailed sound but a slightly prominent bass, and highlight the larger case as the primary physical distinction.
