Anker unveils SOLIX S2000 portable power station at IFA
Anker has unveiled the SOLIX S2000, a new portable power station, at the IFA trade show in Berlin. The device features a 2 kWh capacity and provides 1,500 W of continuous power, with a peak output of up to 3,000 W.
Designed for home emergency use and off-grid activities, the S2000 utilizes lithium iron phosphate cells, which are rated to maintain 80% capacity after 6,000 charge cycles. To maximize runtime during power outages, the unit employs OptiSave™ technology to reduce standby power consumption to 10 W. Under specific low-load conditions, the battery can provide up to 24 hours of backup power, a claim verified by TÜV Süd.
The unit includes eight connections, including three AC outlets, and features a UPS function that switches power in under 10 milliseconds to protect sensitive electronics. It can be recharged via wall outlets, solar panels, generators, or vehicle ports. Anker also introduced the Solarbank Max, a larger stationary storage solution with a 7 kWh capacity.
