Turkey: Firefighter couple and regional crime reports

In Çankırı, a married couple, Kadir Dönmez and Dilek Dönmez, work together in emergency services. Kadir serves as a firefighter for the Çankırı Municipality, while Dilek works at the 112 Emergency Call Center. Dilek receives emergency calls regarding fires, traffic accidents, and rescue operations, which she then relays via radio to Kadir and his team for field intervention.

In Bursa's İnegöl district, a dispute between female relatives escalated into a shooting involving their husbands. Tufan E. opened fire with a shotgun, wounding his cousin, Konar E., and the cousin's 4-year-old son, Ömer E. Both victims were treated at İnegöl State Hospital and subsequently discharged. The suspect was apprehended by police alongside the weapon.

In Northern Cyprus, a 49-year-old woman, E. T., surrendered to the Nicosia Police Department after fatally stabbing her partner, Cumali İsmail Taşdemir, in the Alayköy region. Police are investigating claims that the motive may have been related to property disputes. The suspect has been placed in custody for three days pending further investigation.
