Şanlıurfa museum sees low visitor numbers after opening
A museum in Şanlıurfa, converted from the childhood home of famous singer İbrahim Tatlıses, has seen low visitor numbers since its opening two years ago. Despite the project being completed by the Haliliye Municipality to highlight the region's cultural heritage, only 250 people have visited the site, averaging less than one visitor per day.
The museum was designed to preserve the natural structure of the cave while incorporating elements from the artist's life. Local sources suggest that a lack of promotion and its specific location may be contributing to the low attendance, despite the high number of tourists typically visiting Şanlıurfa.
