Şanlıurfa security guard forms close bond with pet lamb
In the Eyyübiye district of Şanlıurfa, 62-year-old security guard İbrahim Çiçek has formed an unusual bond with a lamb named Ravza. Çiçek adopted the lamb nine months ago when it was only one month old.
Initially raised on milk, Ravza is now fed a diet consisting of bread, grass, and almond candy. The lamb has become a constant companion to Çiçek at the truck garage, following him throughout the parking lot and responding to verbal commands such as ‘come’, ‘go’, ‘sit’, and ‘get up’.
Çiçek describes the lamb as his ‘fifth child’ and a ‘second security guard’. While he previously kept the animal at his home, he moved Ravza to a warehouse after local residents expressed discomfort. Due to their close relationship, Çiçek stated he no longer intends to slaughter the animal and wishes to live with it for many years.
