Anna Bárdos studies at elite Welsh boarding school

Anna, the 19-year-old daughter of Hungarian media personalities Krisztina Máté and András Bárdos, is currently studying at UWC Atlantic College in South Wales. The institution, located within the 12th-century St Donat’s Castle, is a prestigious boarding school known for its international community and has been attended by various European royals, including the heirs to the Belgian, Spanish, and Dutch thrones.

After previously competing in karate and achieving a Hungarian championship title, Anna decided to shift her focus toward her studies. She is currently spending her final two years of pre-graduation education at the college. Her mother, Krisztina Máté, noted that while the historical, castle-like environment—which some compare to the setting of Harry Potter—is inspiring, the lack of karate opportunities is the one thing Anna misses most.
