Anna Castiglia releases second album ‘La paura in tasca’

Italian singer-songwriter Anna Castiglia has released her second studio album, ‘La paura in tasca’, via Numero Uno/Sony Music Italy. Following her debut album ‘Mi piace’, which received the Targa Tenco for best debut work, this new project explores the complexities of artistic identity and the pressure of expectations.

The album’s concept centers on the idea of making fear something tangible and manageable—something to be carried like a small object rather than something that causes paralysis. Castiglia describes the music as a way to coexist with anxiety and uncertainty, transforming these feelings into musical material through irony and personal confession.

Produced in collaboration with Alessandro Di Schuller and Ramiro Levi, the album features a variety of musical genres and experimental arrangements. The tracklist includes songs such as ‘Insisto perché esisto’, ‘Niente di me’, and ‘Sin Samba’, reflecting a search for balance between her established musical style and a desire for creative freedom.
