Anna Foglietta debuts as director with ‘Una storia’

The film ‘Una storia’ marks the directorial debut of Anna Foglietta. The narrative explores emotional distance within a physical relationship, focusing on a couple, Erika and Mauro, living a provincial life defined by routine.

As their connection undergoes a silent and profound fracture, the protagonists are forced to confront their lack of mutual understanding. The film utilizes a slow, linear pace to examine how accumulated daily emotions and the inability to communicate can erode a relationship. Alba Rochwacher and Guido Caprino star in the production, portraying the gradual emotional breakdown of the characters.
