Anna Heiser expresses disappointment with Rome trip

Reality television personality Anna Heiser expressed significant disappointment regarding her recent trip to Rome, describing the experience as a test of patience. Through social media, Heiser detailed how her expectations for Italian romance were met with practical frustrations, including accommodation that did not match its online description. She reported staying in a shared apartment with a damp odor and a view of a littered balcony rather than the expected hotel setting.

Heiser also criticized the impact of mass tourism on the city's landmarks. She described the atmosphere at the Vatican as a ‘geared machinery of mass tourism,’ noting that the crowds limited her time in the Sistine Chapel to only ten minutes despite being impressed by the artwork. While she praised the Trevi Fountain as a ‘masterpiece,’ she noted that the dense crowds pushed her through the site like a current. The noise and congestion of the city, including heavy traffic and crowds at intersections, contributed to her initial sentiment of ‘I am never coming back.’
