Anna Heiser reflects on the sale of her Namibian farm
Anna Heiser, known from the television show ‘Bauer sucht Frau’, has shared an emotional reflection on the one-year anniversary of her family losing their farm in Namibia. Through Instagram, the 36-year-old described the difficult period surrounding August 13, 2025, when their farm assets and personal belongings were auctioned off due to economic reasons.
Heiser noted that the auction date was set by her husband, Gerald, and described the experience as a moment when “nothing was ever the same again.” She recalled feeling deep sadness and fear for the future as their possessions were sold, leaving the family in a state of silence and grief. While she expressed amazement at how well Gerald maintained his composure during the auction, she described the farm feeling like a “ghost farm” in the aftermath.
Following the sale of the Kehoro farm, the family relocated to Poland, where they now live with their two children. Heiser stated that while they lost their “biggest dream,” they have since found “inner peace” and are looking forward to new plans and a more cheerful daily life.
