Anna Jay to undergo shoulder surgery

All Elite Wrestling (AEW) wrestler Anna Jay has announced that she will undergo shoulder surgery within the next one to two weeks. The announcement follows her absence from programming since June.

Jay shared the update during a Twitch stream, explaining that she had spent time seeking multiple opinions from various doctors and surgeons to ensure she made the best decision for her recovery. She noted that while she did not want to undergo surgery, medical professionals advised it as the necessary course of action.

AEW President Tony Khan previously addressed her absence during a media call for AEW Redemption, noting she was recovering from a shoulder injury and remains in good standing with the company following a contract extension earlier this year.
