Anna Krawczyk reappointed as director of Tychy Public Library

Anna Krawczyk has been reappointed as the director of the Municipal Public Library in Tychy for a new term running from October 1, 2026, to December 31, 2030. Krawczyk, who has been with the institution since 1995 and leading it since 2016, aims to expand the library's role as a community hub for education and social interaction.

Key development plans include the creation of a Youth Zone within the Mediateka facility, featuring spaces for group work, board games, manga clubs, and comic art exhibitions. The library also intends to integrate more technology, such as virtual reality services, a mobile application, and SMS system integration. To improve accessibility, the library plans to purchase more book vending machines (książkomaty) for remote areas and expand its digital collection of e-books and synchrobooks.
