Anna Lewandowska discusses family relocation to Chicago

Anna Lewandowska has discussed the emotional challenges of her family's relocation to Chicago following Robert Lewandowski's move to Chicago Fire in June 2026. She admitted to feeling significant anxiety about leaving Barcelona and starting over in a new country, noting that the pressure of public discussion regarding the move was overwhelming.

Lewandowska described the transition as a demanding process involving new schools and documentation. While she views Chicago as a current home and a necessary stop, she expressed a strong desire for the family to eventually return to Barcelona, which she described as ‘our place on earth.’
