Courchevel Summer Grand Prix: Tschofenig and Strøm secure victories

The Summer Grand Prix ski jumping competitions in Courchevel, France, featured significant victories for Austrian and Norwegian athletes amidst challenging weather conditions.

In the men's competitions, Daniel Tschofenig secured back-to-back wins, dominating both the Saturday and Sunday events. He narrowly defeated Philipp Raimund and Stefan Kraft on the podium. The competitions were marked by strong winds and rain, which forced organizers to issue point compensations for wind conditions in some rounds.

In the women's competitions, Anna Odine Strøm claimed a decisive victory on Saturday, leading Yuki Ito and Ingvild Synnoeve Midtskogen. On Sunday, Yuki Ito took the win, finishing ahead of Selina Freitag and Zeng Ping.

Polish representatives saw mixed results; Maciej Kot achieved notable finishes of 13th and 15th place, while other athletes like Aleksander Zniszczoł, Jakub Wolny, and Kamil Waszek struggled to reach the final rounds.
