Anna Parlato wins second place in national literary competition

Anna Parlato, a 15-year-old writer from Pimonte, has secured second place in the Certamen Manfredi di Svevia, a national literary competition. Her winning entry is an excerpt from her second novel, ‘Tra le stelle e il silenzio’.

During a ceremony at the local municipality, Mayor Francesco Somma honored Parlato for her achievement, noting her initiative in independently seeking out literary opportunities. The jury praised her work for its “notable mastery of narrative tension” and her ability to depict complex atmospheres.
