Anna Pieczarka receives nearly 430,000 PLN from Tarnów municipality

Anna Pieczarka, a Member of Parliament for the Law and Justice (PiS) party, has received approximately 430,000 PLN from the Tarnów municipality over the last five years. According to financial documents and local reports, her monthly gross salary from the municipality has reached 9,800 PLN.

Her duties under a mandate contract include promoting the municipality, organizing events, preparing materials for the local newspaper, overseeing the website and social media, and cooperating with local senior clubs and rural women's circles. The mayor of Tarnów, Grzegorz Kozioł, defended the payments, stating that Pieczarka is indispensable to the local government. He noted that her role has evolved from voluntary work to a formalized partnership.

In addition to her municipal earnings, Pieczarka receives a parliamentary salary and allowance. Her 2025 financial disclosures show total income from these three sources exceeding 352,000 PLN. The mayor also mentioned requests for her to assist in promoting local products, such as Tarnów bigos, and local religious culture.
